It looks like the national championship will go through the SEC once again. Crazy! What's even crazier is that if USC beats Notre Dame next week, there is a possibility that we could see the 2nd annual LSU v 'Bama championship game. That ought to make the SEC haters' heads explode.  See you next week.

Rutgers is 1-6-1 all-time at Cincinnati...make it 1-7-1. 

 Arkansas  (4-6)             @      Mississippi St. (7-3)

Miss. St. gets the win, but not before Ark. makes them earn it. 

 South Florida (3-6)        @      Miami (5-5)

Two pretty evenly matched teams as it turns out. Miami wins on a field goal. 

 #18 USC (7-3)              @       #17 UCLA (8-2)

UCLA is ranked ahead of USC for the first time since 2001. They could lock up the Pac 12 South with a win...not gonna happen. Trojans' defensive pressure, offensive playmakers will be too much for Bruins. 

 #23 Texas Tech (7-3)    @      #24 Oklahoma St. (6-3)

This game makes my head hurt. It's hard for the visitor to get a win in Stillwater. I'm taking the hometeam and a Tylenol. 

 Ohio St. (10-0)             @      Wisconsin (7-3)

Man, it must really stink to be undefeated and nobody cares. A win Saturday would give the Buckeyes the outright title in the Leaders Division -- the Big Ten has said Ohio State is still eligible for that. Just as important, it would give them a share of conference bragging rights, regardless of what happens in next month's conference championship game. Wisconsin wants to show the world they deserve to play in the championship game; the Buckeyes want just as much to show they're not. Yes, the standings matter. Even when they don't. Confused? 

 Utah St. (8-2)               @      #20 Louisiana Tech (9-1)

This game is for a WAC title. No, seriously, that's what's at stake here. Two quality teams that most know nothing about. La Tech couldn't beat the Aggies of Texas A&M, so they will take out their frustrations on these Aggies with their NCAA leading offense. Utah will make a game out of it with their disruptive defense, but the Bulldog's just have too much firepower. 

 Syracuse (5-5)              @      Missouri (5-5)

The winner of this game gets...A winning record...at least for a bit. Two 5-5 teams A 4-2 Big East Team takes on a 2-5 SEC team and shows you why the SEC is the top college football conference -- bar none. 

 Tennessee (4-6)           @      Vanderbilt (6-4)

Better offense or better defense. Give me the better defense at home. Vandy 31-28 

 #12 Oklahoma (7-2)     @      West Virginia (5-4)

Scoring 40 points a game is GREAT, unless you're giving up 41. Hey Oklahoma is scoring 40 points a game too...but they are only giving up 20. WV's 4 game skid becomes 5 as the wind leaves the sails early in Morgantown. OU by 10. 

 UTEP (2-8)                   @      Southern Miss (0-10)

I think ramblinon said it best:  Southern Miss gets off the schneid. 

 Arizona (6-4)                @      Utah (4-6)

In the words of Judge Herman Munster of My Cousin Vinny, "What's a Ute?" Any sane person would pick Arizona here. I must be crazy. I sure hope it's cold in Utah on Saturday.
